Intervarsity Springfield

Jessica Pafumi

In many ways, we have seen the presence of God in IV ministry during this crazy year. Although there were some challenges ministering in a virtual environment during the Spring and running a “hybrid” in-person/virtual ministry in the Fall, God has been faithful to come through in every way. We have seen His goodness as the vision of - having a community of believers who love God & each other, who are dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus on their campuses & in their communities - come to life! We now have student contacts on all 8 campuses in the Greater Springfield Area and are developing 20 students during our weekly Core team meeting, who will be our leaders on campus when we are able to plant in-person again. With all of this opportunity, God has also provided by bringing our new intern, Elias Ghantous, to the ministry for the next 3 semesters. Elias is passionate about seeing the vision for the ministry come to life and has been a huge help already! We are so thankful for all God is doing in our students.
